Your First Step Is a Conversation.

A Comprehensive Clinical Evaluation is the foundation of every patient relationship at SMI. It is where we determine what your biological systems need — and whether we are the right clinical team to deliver it.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before Your Visit

You will complete a detailed health history questionnaire covering your symptoms, timeline, past diagnoses, medications, and health goals. This allows Dr. Segal to prepare for your evaluation in advance.

At Your Evaluation

Your evaluation is a 60–90 minute clinical session with Dr. Segal. He will walk through your health history, perform a structured clinical examination, and map your status across the five biological systems.
You will leave with a clear understanding of what we found and a recommendation for next steps.

After Your Evaluation

If additional diagnostic testing is indicated (microbiome, micronutrient, cardiometabolic), we will order it at this stage. Once all data is reviewed, Dr. Segal will present your recovery plan.
